drag portraits
January 2016 Ray attended Vancouvers longest running monthly Drag show, Man Up for their first time to film a mutual friends performance. Since that night Ray has fallen in love with and immersed themselves in a life surrounded by Drag and gender performance. Working as an event photographer in Queer spaces, Ray has been able to document countless Drag performers over the years. The artistry and talent of Drag Kings, Things and Queens has consistently provided Ray with inspiration and an artistic drive to create. Ray has been able to work with and document various remarkable performers throughout the city.
